I've run out of 고추장.어떡해!
My favorite Korean dish to prepare is dobu jorim. It is cooked with gochujang. The container I brought with me to Japan has
run out. I posted on Facebook and
someone suggested I substitute gochugaru.
It worked well. It wasn’t ‘til
eleven weeks later that I found some at a Yaoko supermarket about an hour away
for almost triple the price that I used to pay.
